Project Detail

Use of HDPE Pipe

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polyethylene high-density (PEHD) is a polyethylene thermoplastic developed from petroleum. It is the quantity of about 1.75 kilograms of petroleum (in terms of energy and raw materials) that gets converted into one kilogram of HDPE.

The density of polyethylene varies between 0.93 to 0.97 g/cm³. Although the density of HDPE is only marginally higher than that of Low-density polyethylene, the molecular structure of HDPE, which has little branching make it stronger to result as a stronger Extrusion products for varieties of purposes and utilities. HDPE is an organic substance made from carbon and hydrogen.

HDPE pipe is used for variety of purpose and utility. HDPE pipes has extensive use in irrigation, agriculture, industrial effluents, sprinkler system, tubewells, slurry transportation, portable water supply, gas transmission, sewerage and drainage, chemical industries, telephone cable duction, irrigation drip, sprinkler and lift irrigation, water transportation potable water, drainage and sewage, Industrial chemicals, sandstowing, dewatering in mines, dredge pipelines, gas distribution and low voltage telecom and power cables.
